A beloved WaterColor experience, available to guests of WaterColor Inn and the WaterColor community, Camp WaterColor is the quintessential summer recreation area for families. With two pools with slides, a lazy river (with a lifeguard on duty), a playground and a basketball court, there is something for kids of all ages. Camp WaterColor also seamlessly integrates casual, family-friendly dining and an ice cream shop for the ultimate easy-breezy experience. During the summer months, be on the lookout for seasonal events and entertainment.

KIDS’ (AND PARENTS’) NIGHTS OUT

Available to guests of Camp Creek Inn and Watersound Inn, Watersound Club nights out allow the kids to blow off some pre-bedtime steam while parents enjoy a relaxing dinner at ANR or a romantic sunset stroll along the beach. Kids ages six to 13 can enjoy scavenger hunts, movies, crafts, pickleball and tennis, as well as dine at Bark ‘N Brine. Kids’ Night Out takes place on the last Friday of each month, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Camp Creek Racquet Center. Registration fees apply; please contact the hotel concierge for more information.

POOL TIME

There’s certainly no shortage of pools on this side of town. In fact, WaterColor Inn boasts the most pool access on 30A, including access to WaterColor Beach Club’s beachside amenities! At Camp Creek Inn and Watersound Inn, guests receive exclusive access to the Watersound Beach Club’s summer pool parties, featuring rubber duck races, water Skee-ball, scavenger hunts, live music and more. The Camp Creek Pool Complex also gets into the fun with weekly Summer Fridays led by the Fun Squad, complete with pool and field games and rotating lunch specials at Barn “N Brine, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

JUNIOR SPORT CAMPS

Make it an active summer with your choice of tennis, pickleball or golf camps that will sharpen your emerging athlete’s skills. In June and July, Camp Creek Inn and Watersound Inn guests may sign up for tennis, pickleball or golf camps. Tennis and Pickleball Summer Camps are available to kids ages seven to 15 and take place Monday through Thursday. Junior golfers, ages six to 12, can opt into half-day or four-day Golf Camps, both of which include educational clinics with dedicated coaches at the Golf Performance Center. NATURE EXPERIENCES

South Walton abounds with natural beauty, making each visit an opportunity for an unforgettable science lesson. Take a family kayaking tour through a rare dune lake, spot the local wildlife along 30A or learn about the area’s unique ecology at the Watersound Beach Club. Available to guests of Camp Creek Inn and Watersound Inn, this monthly family-friendly Coastal Ecology Class led by Dr. Jon Schmidt offers a fun and interactive opportunity to discover the wonders of Northwest Florida’s Coast in a distinct family learning experience. Part of the resort’s seasonal programming, registration is free but must be coordinated through the Camp Creek Inn concierge.
