There are few events more classically Watercolor Beach than the annual Mountainfilm on Tour. For its 25th year, the two-night outdoor film festival returns to WaterColor® Marina Park for an unforgettable celebration of film, art and ideas under the stars Nov. 7 and 8, 2025.
Mountainfilm on Tour in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, provides guests with the distinct opportunity to see some of the best-loved films from the annual Mountainfilm festival held in Telluride, Colorado, right here in Northwest Florida – all while enjoying the best South Walton beaches and activities.
“We’re especially excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our partnership with Mountainfilm this year. It’s been an incredible journey bringing some truly incredible films to WaterColor Marina Park for a quarter of a century. This event has become a beloved tradition for our guests—and us. Everyone who returns year after year is entertained, inspired, and recharged, and we can’t wait to make this milestone year the most memorable yet.” – Gabrielle Testa, General Manager, WaterColor Inn

What to Expect
The 2025 lineup will reflect Mountainfilm’s theme of exploring cultures, preserving environments and promoting adventure. A full list of this year’s featured films will be posted here ahead of the event (parental discretion is advised).
An event presenter will guide the audience through the program, providing insight on the films, filmmakers and topics, as guests enjoy food and drinks under the stars in an outdoor festival atmosphere set against the beautiful backdrop of WaterColor® Marina Park.
Guests can bring a blanket or low-back chairs for lawn seating; please note that the height of the chairs (no more than 30 inches from the ground) is strongly enforced. No outside food or beverage is permitted through the Mountainfilm on Tour gates. Pets are not allowed. Please plan transportation accordingly, as parking will be limited.
Gates open at 6 p.m., and the festival kicks off at 7 p.m. For additional event details, please click here or email mfilm@stjoe.com.
