Havana Beach Bar & Grill: An Inspired Taste of Place
Just as the colorful and storied old-town Havana haunt from which it draws its inspiration, The Pearl’s hallmark AAA Four-Diamond restaurant, Havana Beach Bar & Grill, celebrates the joy of living, eating and drinking well with a menu that’s equal parts Gulf Coast, equal parts Caribbean – all served up in an approachable, family-friendly ambiance.

In true Hemingway-approved style, the restaurant serves up a delectable dining experience in a laidback ambiance. Guests can dive into the experience in four ways, each worthy of its own visit: in the main dining room (a bustling scene set to live piano entertainment on select nights), on the veranda (with views overlooking the Gulf and Main Street), on the rooftop (a can’t-miss sunset spot), or in the lounge (opening this spring) At the hand-carved mahogany bar, mixologists craft made-to-order cocktails that creatively engage all of the senses. Those looking to unwind with a glass of wine can also choose from a well-curated selection.

Led by Executive Chef Todd Rogers and The Pearl’s Food & Beverage Director Kevin Dixon, the restaurant’s menu provides a distinct sense of place, incorporating ingredients sourced locally from small, family-owned purveyors within 100 miles of the restaurant. Must-try standouts include classic Southern comfort dishes, like Coastal Seafood Fritters and Local Caught Grouper, and creations with a Latin twist, such as the Three Little Pigs pork sampler and Hemingway’s Mariscos (a mouth-watering array of local fish, mussels, clams and shrimp, served with chorizo and zucchini). One can’t go wrong with the Havana Beach Salad, but saving room for dessert is a must.

A Poolside Spa Experience
With a distinctive blend of experiences incorporating invigorating and therapeutic oceanic elements, the poolside Spa Pearl is an innovative and intimate spa experience with signature treatments utilizing the healing powers of the pearl gemstone itself. Within four private poolside treatment rooms, men and women enjoy facials, signature body treatments, massages and waxing services. Available spa packages incorporate numerous treatments and range from two to four hours. Spa Pearl also offers in-room massages, as well as manicures and pedicures in its parlor.

As one of the first hotels in the country to offer in-room Apple TV services, The Pearl allows guests to stream their favorite shows wirelessly from complimentary high-speed wireless internet. They may even watch from the bathtub, thanks to a screen cleverly integrated into the bathroom mirror.  Each guestroom features an iPad equipped with the Intelity ICE, enabling guests to order room service, control functions such as air/lights, set a wake-up call time, book a dinner reservation, and even request their car from the valet before departing. The hotel bottles its own Nordaq FRESH water onsite in reusable glass bottles, cutting down on unnecessary plastic bottle waste. Complimentary coffee, juices and soda are also provided in-room.
